<P><STRONG>中央研究院昨天表示，院士李遠川長期從事醣生物學基礎研究，並擔任亞洲和美洲合作的重要橋梁，今年獲得醣生物學學會「羅莎琳德康菲德終身成就獎」，十一月將在西雅圖接受授獎。</STRONG></P>
<P><BR><STRONG>中研院表示，創立於一九六五年的醣生物學學會是提倡研究醣生物學的非營利學術組織，「羅莎琳德康菲德終身成就獎」則是<SPAN class=t_tag onclick=tagshow(event) href="tag.php?name=200">200</SPAN>8年為紀念美國華盛頓大學優秀的醫學及分子生物學家康菲德而設立，旨在表彰終身奉獻給醣科學研究的優秀學者。<BR></STRONG></P>
